The mobile companion application keeps players engaged between matches. It mirrors core website functionality while adding real-time interactions and gamification elements tailored for on-the-go use.

User Profiles & Reputation​

Account creation and anonymous usage​

Players can create an account directly in the app or sign in with existing website credentials. For quick play, anonymous mode lets users join public tournaments without providing personal details. Anonymous profiles can later be upgraded to full accounts to preserve stats and rewards.

Profile upgrading and reputation system​

A player's reputation grows through consistent participation, fair play, and positive feedback from other users. Upgraded profiles unlock cosmetic badges and advanced matchmaking tiers, encouraging players to maintain good standing.

Challenges & Missions​

Static vs. pre-defined missions​

Missions come in two forms: static challenges that are always available and timed missions tied to special events. Developers can also supply unique mission sets through the SDK, giving each game room to tailor objectives.

Earning rewards and tracking progress​

The app tracks mission completion, tournament wins, and daily logins. Progress is synced with the website so players can claim rewards anywhere. Most rewards come in the form of points, in-game items, or entries into special prize pools.

Real-Time Activity Feed​

Friends system and online status​

Users can search for friends by username or import contacts from connected platforms. The activity feed shows which friends are online and what games they're currently playing, making it easy to join them or send invites.

Recent match history and game joining​

Match results appear instantly in the feed with quick links to join rematches or queue for similar events. When a friend starts a public lobby, one tap takes you directly into the game if it's linked through the SDK.

Notifications​

Tournament alerts and updates​

Push notifications keep players informed about tournament start times, bracket progress, and any rule changes. Users can customize which games and events they wish to follow.

Reward notifications and engagement prompts​

The app sends alerts when missions are near completion or when new rewards are available to claim. Short reminders encourage daily check-ins to keep players engaged.

Gamification​

Daily check-ins and reward loops​

Logging in each day grants small bonuses that build toward larger weekly rewards. This loop encourages consistent participation and funnels players back into ongoing events.

Leaderboards and progression systems​

Both global and game-specific leaderboards are accessible in the app. Rankings are updated in real time using the same ELO calculations available through the SDK, giving players instant feedback on their standing.
